The Great Escape

I've just finished reading Dracula. It was one of the Gothic classics I still missed so I took the chance before watching the new Luc Besson's movie... and now I'm less curious about it. Honestly, I'm pretty pissed they're telling a story that never existed in the book and speaking frankly, I never was a super Coppola's movie fan either. I felt that something was off.
I'm not against romance in general or giving a personal perspective to a story (even in Nosferatu we have the element of the final sacrifice that is made-up and I like that one!), but I've always thought that that touch of 'love' was a bit too much. It felt Baroque.
In fact, now I see all of my doubts confirmed by the original, which I liked a lot instead.

This piece is more of an impression, I wanted to go back to my more emotional works because lately I feel it difficult to focus in digital when it's not for work.

(Poor Mina and Johnatan, their true love was so mistreated!!)
