This whole AI stuff is something so controversial that made me think a lot about it and I wanted to share my thoughts here.
Considering the matter from different perspectives, if it would've stayed just a tool as many of us thought in the beginning of the MidCursedJourney, it would've been absolutely no problem for any of us. Yes, I do not agree in making the job faster and faster crushing people with pressure and deadlines, but I could still understand that point of view, another possible path would've been in making it something completely new, a technique, a medium absolutely indipendent from other artists' work, a new form of Art, and it would've been an amazing choice, but now it's just a way to get to a final result as fast as possible without even thinking about the process. and it is already 'stealing jobs' from people who have studied their entire life to achieve some important results and job positions.
And I've also observed and personally think that all those apps that let people see themselves in different historical periods or universes are made just to 'perfect' the AI in making believable faces and human resemblance instead of creating those 'horrific abominations', as I like to call them.
So, we can't stop the madding process I fear, but we can ask to people to be reasonable and continue to ask to artists to make Art while we can only answer with studying and working on our skills, expanding them and reminding people that making art and drawing... is not that simple.
I'll stop here with my flow of thoughts and I'm sorry for the awful English!
